JUCO guard Erik Pratt commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has picked up its first commitment in the 2022 recruiting class in Seward County College shooting guard Erik Pratt.
Pratt is in his second season at Seward C.C. in Liberal, Kansas, after graduating from Lake Worth (Fla.) Park Vista in 2020.
“I’m overly grateful and 100% appreciative to even be in the position to choose where I go to school next year,” Pratt posted on Instagram. “The road to get to this point has been an absolute roller coaster and I appreciate all my failures and life lessons along the way. With that being said I would love to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Texas A&M University!”
In his first season at the JUCO level, Erik Pratt was second team All-Conference after averaging 13.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game while shooting 46.5% from 3-point land.

Pratt has gotten off to a great start this fall. On Nov. 1, he scored 22 points on 8-for-13 shooting, including 4 of 8 from beyond the arc. He then dropped 11 points in a win over New Mexico Military Institute the next day.
