Kansas transfer OT Armaj Reed-Adams commits to Texas A&M

Former Kansas offensive tackle Armaj Reed-Adams has committed to Texas A&M, he announced on Sunday via X.
Reed-Adams appeared in 31 games with 14 starts across his four years in Lawrence. He started all 11 contests he played in this season at right tackle and helped paved the way for KU to finish as a top 10 rushing attack with 206.0 yards per game. The Jayhawks finished 9-4 and won their first bowl game since 2008, defeating UNLV by a score of 49-36 in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
As a recruit, Reed-Adams was a three-star prospect coming out of DeSoto (TX) High School. He ranked as the No. 1,574 overall player and No. 165 offensive tackle in the 2020 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
At 6-foot-5, 250-pounds, Reed-Adams is literally, and figuratively one of the biggest gets for head coach Mike Elko, who is looking to build Texas A&M back to what they believe is their standard.
