Notable stats from Texas A&M commits, targets in Week 6

It was a quieter week of high school football across the country with a large number of games canceled or rescheduled in the state of Florida due to Hurricane Ian, with game cancellations in Philadelphia due to a school shooting and a large number of notable teams across the state of Texas on bye weeks. Still, despite the quiet week, a number of Texas A&M commits and targets had outstanding performances.

2023 Texas A&M four-star defensive back commit Dalton Brooks rushed for 92 yards and three touchdowns on just ten carries in Shiner (Tex.) High’s 62-14 win over Bloomington. On the season, he’s now over 1,000 rushing yards on the season and is nearing 70 tackles with four games left in the regular season.

2024 Texas A&M four-star defensive line commit Dealyn Evans helped his Longview (Tex.) Pine Tree team to their first win of the season, with six tackles and three quarterback hurries in a 49-14 win.

2023 San Diego (Cali.) Lincoln four-star running back Roderick Robinson II continues to put up big numbers, rushing for 217 yards and three touchdowns, helping lead the Hornets to a 31-17 win over Cathedral Catholic. On the season, Robinson, who’s committed to UCLA, has already rushed for over 1,500 yards.

2023 St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College four-star running back Jeremiyah Love rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries in a 55-24 win over Indianapolis (In.) Bishop Chatard.

2024 Willis (Tex.) High four-star quarterback DJ Lagway went 24-32 for 388 yards and four touchdowns, adding 76 rushing yards and two more touchdowns on just six carries, leading the Wildkats to a dominant 55-14 win over Cleveland (Tex.) High.

2024 Waco (Tex.) Conally four-star cornerback Kobe Black did it all in a 45-27 win over Springtown. On offense, he rushed for 141 yards and four touchdowns on just six carries. Defensively, he had four tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception he returned 81 yards for a touchdown.

2024 Temple (Tex.) Lake Belton four-star wide receiver Micah Hudson finished with seven receptions for 168 yards and one touchdown in a dominant 58-27 win over Cleburne (Tex.) High. His longest reception of the day was a screen he took 51 yards to the end zone.

2024 Silsbee (Tex.) High four-star athlete Dre’lon Miller had five total touchdowns in the Tigers’ 56-6 win over Hardin-Jefferson. He’s already well over 1,000 all-purpose yards on the season.

2024 Aledo (Tex.) High four-star linebacker Davhon Keys rushed for 16 yards and a touchdown on five carries, adding an interception he returned 77 yards for a touchdown in a big 52-7 win over The Colony.

2024 Mckinney (Tex.) High three-star running back Bryan Jackson is having a breakout season for the Lions and is now over 1,000 rushing yards on the season, the first time he’s reached the 1,000 yard mark in his high school career. On Friday, he rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries.

2025 Red Oak (Tex.) High wide receiver Taz Williams Jr. caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in a 38-35 win over Killeen (Tex.) Shoemaker. The sophomore was offered by the Aggies back in August
