Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge four-star cornerback Jamar Beal-Goines has committed to the Texas A&M Aggies.

Beal-Goines is a three-star prospect ranked No. 624 nationally and No. 61 among cornerbacks in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 rates him higher than the other major recruiting services. Beal-Goines ranks No. 228 in the nation and is the No. 22 cornerback in the 2025 On300.

Beal-Goines visited College Station earlier this month.

“It was a great experience,” Beal-Goines told On3. “I have a great relationship with Coach (Jordan) Peterson and getting to go to College Station with my family was really amazing and a great time.”

Beal-Goines is just the second of the Aggies’ commits to not hail from Texas, along with Corona (Calif.) Centennial four-star quarterback Husan Longstreet, who is a centerpiece addition for Elko and Co.

Four offensive linemen are currently in the class. Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland four-star offensive tackle Jonte Newman and Prosper (Texas) three-star IOL Connor Carty also committed in April, while Spring (Texas) Legacy three-star IOL Joshua Moses was the first to commit, doing so last August.

Katy (Texas) Paetow four-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway is a top-175 recruit and top-25 corner in the cycle. DeSoto (Texas) four-star running back Deondrae Riden is a top-15 burner and provided a recruiting boost with his pledge in February. Forney (Texas) four-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins is the No. 300 recruit in the nation, while Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair four-star defensive lineman Landon Rink kicked off the Aggies’ big April.
