WATCH: Texas A&M commit Noah Thomas makes leaping TD grab
League City (Tex.) Clear Spring wide receiver Noah Thomas might’ve still been in diapers when Randy Moss was breaking NFL records. But the Texas A&M commit’s highlight-reel catch Thursday night would make Moss proud.
The 6-foot-5 Thomas, committed to the Aggies since February, has a habit of making these kinds of catches. The first minute of his highlight tape features one circus catch after another, and this one is sure to go on it. During Clear Springs’ 64-27 shellacking of Conroe, Thomas runs a hitch-and-go, but the defender doesn’t bite. The quarterback has to throw the ball up to take advantage of Thomas’ height, and the big leaper catches the ball at its high point on a perfect back-shoulder throw.
As a junior last season for the Chargers, Thomas caught 40 passes for 883 yards and seven touchdowns.
