Texas A&M lands transfer commitment from former Florida CB Jaydon Hill
Former Florida cornerback Jaydon Hill will transfer to Texas A&M, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Saturday evening. He will have one season of eligibility remaining.
Hill spent the past five seasons playing for the Gators, appearing in 43 games with 25 starts across his career. He has recorded 88 tackles (five for loss), 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, 18 passes defended and two fumbles recoveries in that span. This past season he set career highs in tackles (39), tackles-for-loss (4.0) and sacks (2.0).
As a recruit, Hill was a four-star prospect out of Bob Jones (AL) High School. He ranked as the No. 270 overall player and No. 26 cornerback in the 2019 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was also the No. 10 player from the state of Alabama.
Jaydon Hill ranks as the No. 458 overall player according to On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings. He joins an Aggies team that finished 7-6 in 2023 and hired a new coach this offseason in Mike Elko.
