“As I reflect on my time at Texas A&M these past six years, I am nothing but grateful for the opportunity to have attended this great university and to have been a part of this special family,” Hansford said. “This journey has truly been a blessing.
“It was during the most critical points of my career that the support of my coaches and family, who were behind me every step of the way, brought me to this point. I have become the player and person I envisioned myself to be. Now, looking at the opportunities that lie ahead to further my career as a professional athlete, I am most thankful for these people who have completely pushed me in a positive direction. Despite the adversity, I wouldn’t have asked for it to have gone any other way because of who it helped me to become.
“The 12th Man has allowed me to be a part of something bigger than myself and because of that I will always hold this university close to my heart and call this place home. I will forever be an Aggie and I wouldn’t change that for anything. I am taking the next steps in my career, declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft to chase a dream I’ve had since I was a little boy. It is surreal to me, but it would not be possible without the support of Aggieland. For that, I’m forever grateful. I love Texas A&M with all my heart.”
