Texas A&M offensive lineman Chase Bisontis withdraws from NCAA Transfer Portal
The Texas A&M Aggies found themselves on the right side of a NCAA transfer portal transaction. On3 has learned that Texas A&M standout offensive lineman Chase Bisontis has decided to withdraw his name from the portal and remain in the program.
Bisontis announced his intention to transfer in early December and was quickly one of the most sought-after players. The Aggies offensive line star racked up the offers, receiving more than 20 from various programs across the country. In the end, Bisontis decided that College Station, TX, was still the best place for him and his collegiate career.
Bisontis played high school football at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 46 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Bisontis was also the top recruit out of New Jersey and ranked second in the nation among interior offensive linemen.
