The Texas A&M Aggies are preparing for a stiff test this weekend as they face off against Mississippi State and one of the best quarterbacks in the nation in quarterback Will Rogers. The helmets feature the same Texas A&M logo, but they also have an outline of the state of Texas in white around them. The Aggies will also be rocking the revolution helmets.

Check them out.

The design on these helmets looks pretty similar to the design the Aggies wore back in 2013, so maybe this is a throwback helmet. If you want a look at the history of Texas A&M’s helmets over the years, you can find them at this website here.

The Aggies are fresh off a wild victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks in which Arkansas just missed a last second field goal attempt by hitting the top of the upright. Texas A&M survived 23-21, but it was a wild and frenetic finish. Aggies running back Devon Achane carried the team on his back yet again, finishing with 19 carries for 159 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Former five-star wideout Evan Stewart hauled in three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown for Texas A&M. Last weekend was his first game back from his suspension. The Aggie secondary will be tested and in a big way by Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers. He’s completed 73.7 percent of his passes thus far, while throwing for 1,386 yards (second in the country) while tossing in 16 touchdown passes (tied for first in the country), and throwing three interceptions. Rogers is one of the more underrated quarterbacks in the country that doesn’t get quite the amount of credit he deserves nationally.

Texas A&M will be without the services of their top wide receiver, Ainias Smith, who is done for the season after suffering a broken fibula and broken ankle against Arkansas. His time in College Station is likely finished and he’s hopeful to return in time for NFL pre-draft workouts, according to Billy Liucci of TexasAgs. Smith finished his career at Texas A&M with 127 catches for 1,612 receiving yards, while bringing in 17 touchdowns. He also had 67 rushes for 384 yards on the ground, while racking up four touchdowns.
