Texas A&M wide receiver Jake Bostick enters NCAA transfer portal
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Texas A&M wide receiver Jake Bostick has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Bostick spent just one year with the program after transferring in from Iowa last offseason. He is now back on the open market, looking for his third school in as many years.
Bostick did play in 12 games this season for Texas A&M but did not have too big of an impact. Just one catch for the receiver, going for 14 yards. It occurred early in the season against McNeese State.
Most of Bostick’s playing time came on special teams, both kick and punt units. According to his official Texas A&M profile, his last offensive snaps came during the win vs. Mississippi State. Maybe not the biggest loss from a name recognition but certainly one Patrick Dougherty will not be too thrilled with.
Bostick entered the program as a redshirt sophomore, having three years of eligibility remaining. Five games were played during the 2023 season after taking the redshirt as a true freshman in 2022. You can subtract one from the eligibility total at the wide receiver’s next destination.

Bostick played high school football at Palatine (IL) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 579 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Texas A&M is working hard to make upgrades at wide receiver this offseason. Five-star Jerome Myles signed with the Aggies out of the 2025 recruiting class. Multiple transfers have already been on campus, including Texas Tech‘s Micah Hudson. In fact, On3 RPMs have been made for Hudson to wind up in College Station by Pete Nakos and Steve Wiltfong.
Head coach Mike Elko is hoping the skill position players can help out whoever is back there playing quarterback for Texas A&M.
