Top-100 prospect Jayvon Thomas commits to in-state Texas A&M
Texas A&M‘s winning streak on the recruiting trail continued Wednesday as Dallas South Oak Cliff four-star cornerback Jayvon Thomas has committed to the school.
He is the second top-100 player to announce their plans to play for the Aggies in two days after La Grange (Texas) four-star cornerback Bravion Rogers committed to the school Tuesday.
Thomas is the No. 79 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Thomas’ commitment comes less than three months after the Aggies offered him in January.
The 2023 Texas A&M recruiting class now has six commits and is ranked fifth in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
In addition to Thomas and Rogers, Wylie (Texas) Wylie East four-star defensive lineman Anthony James, Converse (Texas) Judson four-star defensive lineman Johnny Bowens, Spring Branch (Texas) Smithson Valley three-star interior offensive lineman Colton Thomasson and Southlake (Texas) Carroll punter Tyler White make up the recruiting class so far.
