WATCH: Ainias Smith takes a 95-yard punt return back for a touchdown
Texas A&M wide receiver Ainias Smith is one of the most explosive playmakers in all of college football and he’s showcasing that ability tonight against South Carolina.
Watch below as he returns the punt 95-yards for a touchdown early in the first quarter to put the Aggies up 7-0 on South Carolina.
The punt return for touchdown was the longest by any player in FBS this season.
It’s also the third longest punt return in Texas A&M history.
He caught the football at around the five yard line and weaved his way through defenders all the way to the other side of the field. Nobody touched him.
The Aggies currently lead the game 14-0. The game is still going on.
Smith is one of the most most dynamic players in the country, not only on special teams, but as a receiver, too.
He’s already hauled in five red zone receiving touchdowns in 2021, tying him for the most in college football right now.
