The 3-3 Texas A&M Aggies are set to take on the 4-2 unranked South Carolina Gamecocks today in Columbia, SC. The Aggies are coming off a bye week following the loss at Alabama while the Gamecocks are also coming off a bye following a win over No. 13 ranked Kentucky.
Both teams bring some questions at the quarterback positions but strong playmakers and stout defenses to this game. South Carolina has not allowed more than 20 points in over a month and is scoring the ball at a strong pace. The Texas A&M defense will need to be on their best today to contain a potentially strong offense.

Breakdown
This is a story of two teams that started their seasons with early struggles and questionable quarterback play. Since that point, South Carolina has righted the ship while Texas A&M still seems to trying to do so. The Aggies pushed Alabama to the edge, almost upsetting the Tide in Tuscaloosa, but fell short. With two weeks for Haynes King to rest up and maybe find a rhythm in practice, the Aggies offense *should* look better today.
With the struggles from Spencer Rattler (5 TD to 8 INT), the Aggies defense should be able to have their way with him, MarShawn Lloyd is a talented back, but the front seven should be able to limit his production today. The Gamecocks has two solid wide receivers who the secondary will need to contain but causing pressure up front should help with that. The Aggies have more talent on this roster but playing on the road and still some uncertainties with King, this game could go any direction. However, I think they Aggies go home with a win.
