Where Texas A&M's top 2024 targets rank in the updated On300
The 2024 On300 rankings were updated Monday, and the Texas A&M Aggies are involved in the recruitments of many of the junior prospects listed in the top 25. One of the most notable ones is five-star wide receiver, Micah Hudson
A top target for Texas A&M, Hudson is ranked inside the top 10 of the On300, and only those 10 prospects currently carry five-star rankings. More will be added as the cycle goes on, expanding as far as the No. 32 overall prospect.
But for now, Texas A&M has put themselves in good to great positions with several prospects in the top 25. Here’s a look at the updated rankings and the Aggies’ current status with those prospects.
WR Micah Hudson, Temple (Texas) Lake Belton
Previous On3 ranking: No. 12
New On3 ranking: No. 8 (five-star)
Hudson rightly remains as the top wide out in Texas and moves up four spots in the On300. Hudson is being pursued by a number of top programs, so the Aggies have their work cut out for them. The Texas Longhorns are a legitimate threat as are programs such as Ohio State and Texas Tech.

ATH Terry Bussey, Timpson (Tex.)
Previous On3 ranking: No. 23
New On3 ranking: No. 13
A rise of 10 spots in the On300, Bussey is now the No. 1 athlete in the 2024 class. The Aggies are the leader in the On3 recruiting prediction machine at this time with roughly 50% odds to land his commitment. However, the Longhorns once again pose a major threat in this recruitment. It is likely one of the state’s best will remain in the borders to play his college career.
CB Kobe Black, Waco (Tex.) Connally
Previous On3 ranking: No. 15
New On3 ranking: No. 17
Despite a slight drop of two spots in the ranks, Black remains the top cornerback in the state of Texas. Black is among the absolute defensive priorities for the Aggies in 2024 and would provide with them a shutdown cornerback for years to come. While he is not technically a five-star prospect yet, he is well on his way.
