Aledo (Texas) running back Raycine Guillory has committed to Texas.

He chose the Longhorns over the likes of SMU, Arkansas and USC.

Guillory is the first commit for Steve Sarkisian and Co. in the 2026 cycle. He is not currently ranked in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Guillory was one of the many recruits in Austin this weekend for a stacked Junior Day lineup on The Forty Acres. He was offered by UT in October and has opted not to push things any longer, pulling the trigger on pledging to the in-state program.

Texas took a pair of burners in the 2024 cycle, including Gainesville (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star Jerrick Gibson, the No. 86 recruit and No. 5 RB in the nation. Phoenix Mountain Pointe four-star RB Christian Clark is also headed to Austin.

“This is where I need to be,” Gibson said of Texas to On3 earlier this month. “I just like how (Sarkisian) lets his coaches coach. He’s not too big into, like, interfering into what they’ve got going on. He lets them do their own thing with their position group. I like how he lets coach (Tashard) Choice do his own thing with his backs, he puts his trust into him to do what he’s got to do.”

Texas is currently without a running back commit in the 2025 cycle, though the class does feature four pledges — three of whom are four-stars.

Saraland (Ala.) four-star quarterback K.J. Lacey is the headliner of the quartet, checking in as the No. 82 recruit and No. 8 signal-caller in the cycle. Calhoun (Ga.) four-star tight end Emaree Winston and Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie four-star defensive lineman Brandon Brown flank as top-300 prospects.
