4-star athlete Hunter Moddon commits to Texas
Houston Clear Lake four-star athlete Hunter Moddon has announced his commitment to Texas.
“I chose UT because they provide everything Hove about football. They have an amazing atmosphere, great coaches like Coach Marion & Coach Sark that believe in developing players on and off the field, and a perfect location for my family and friends to see me do what I love! Also, I am excited about the quality of education that I will be provided to me at the University Of Texas. What the LongHorn fans are
getting from me…is a young man that is not satisfied with just being a 4 Star recruit, or a DI Football player. I Want to be the BEST and I PROMISE to stay humble and to work the hardest everyday to become that,” Maddon tweeted.

Moddon is the No. 132 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is ranked as the No. 103 prospect and No. 9 athlete in the 2024 On300 ranking.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $56k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
