Bijan Robinson releases NCAA Tournament bracket
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson is one of several athletes and celebrities to share their NCAA Tournament bracket during March Madness this year, regarded as one of the best traditions and events across the sports landscape.
To no surprise, the former Texas star went with his alma mater to take home the men’s national championship this year. But Robinson did make a handful of surprising picks and upset predictions ahead of the action.
Check out Robinson’s full bracket and March Madness predictions below.
Robinson has the state of Texas and the Big 12 Conference at large well represented in his Final Four, with Connecticut, Houston, and Baylor joining the Longhorns in Phoenix, Arizona for the first weekend of April.
His bracket also features several first-round upsets, predicting No. 15 seed Western Kentucky defeating No. 2 Marquette, 14. seed Oakland taking down Kentucky, and double-digit seeded NC State and Grand Canyon both making it to the Elite Eight on unexpected tournament runs.
It will surely be interesting to see if Robinson’s as good at predicting March Madness as he is at making plays on the field, racking up 1,465 total yards and eight touchdowns in his rookie season with the Falcons. Leading all rookie running backs last year with 976 yards on the ground.

It was only fitting for Robinson to rock with the Longhorns in the NCAA Tournament, ranking No. 4 all-time in Texas’ record books with 3,410 career rushing yards in his three seasons in Austin. As Texas takes on Colorado State in their first-round March Madness matchup at 6:50 p.m. ET after making it to the Elite Eight a season ago.
Dylan Disu addresses fans that are down on Texas after early exit in Big 12 Tournament
The Longhorns underperformed in the Big 12 Tournament this season, losing their very first game with a second round loss to Kansas State. Which has some fans apprehensive about Texas’ chances of making a deep NCAA Tournament run, which forward Dylan Disu addressed ahead of the tournament.
“It’s not about what happened in the past or what happened in the last tournament and honestly we’re using that as motivation,” Disu said on Monday. “We didn’t want to lose to Kansas State, we didn’t want that game to go the way it went. We felt like we could have won that game and made a run in that tournament, but we didn’t.”
“And so we had to sit with that this last week, this past weekend and we used that as motivation to come back, practice hard, work on things we need to work on, hold ourselves accountable, and come out and play our best basketball on Thursday.”
