LOOK: Bijan Robinson reacts to hilarious tweet suggesting new use for Golden Hat trophy
Bijan Robinson and Texas are the new owners of the Golden Hat trophy after shutting out Oklahoma to claim a 49-0 victory in the Red River Showdown on Saturday. Robinson had 130 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the win, prompting one of his NIL partners to take advantage of a perfect marketing opportunity.
Bijan Mustardson, the official mustard of Bijan Robinson, tweeted a photo of one of their bottles of mustard with the Golden Hat as the bottle cap. The caption on the picture read, “New mustard bottle cap option. Would y’all be interested in this?”
For Robinson, the answer is a resounding yes. He had a glowing endorsement when asked about it postgame.
“That’s sick,” he said according to The Athletic’s Chris Vannini.

Surprisingly, Texas dominated the game from start to finish as the Oklahoma offense struggled with starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel sidelined. Robinson scored the first touchdown of the game, and Texas never looked back as the Longhorns took a 28-0 lead into the locker room.
The victory marked the first for Texas in the Red River Showdown since 2018, and improved the Longhorns to 4-2 (2-1 Big 12). They will look to keep building upon that success when they face Iowa State next week at 11 a.m. CT.

More on Bijan Robinson’s signature mustard
Right before the annual Red River Showdown between the Longhorns and Sooners, it was announced Robinson’s signature mustard would be available. Of course, people will travel to Dallas for a world-famous Fletcher’s Corny Dog, a staple when the fair is open throughout October.
The mustard has a slogan of “it’s like a touchdown in your mouth!” Robinson has been one of the top players in the NIL game while at Texas, with the signature mustard being one of the more popular deals.
No matter which side you are cheering for, the State Fair of Texas is the best part of the Texas-Oklahoma rivalry. It’s been a staple in the matchup on an annual basis, with the Cotton Bowl being the host since 1932. The only thing more coveted than the food around the area may be the Golden Hat.
