On3 4-star IOL Daniel Cruz commits to Texas
North Richland Hills (Texas) Richland four-star interior offensive lineman Daniel Cruz has announced his commitment to Texas. He chose the Longhorns over Florida State, LSU and Michigan among others.
Cruz is the No. 198 overall prospect and No. 12 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 38 player in Texas.
On3 rates Cruz higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 150 overall prospect, No. 7 interior offensive lineman and No. 33 player in Texas.

“Coach (Kyle) Flood and that coaching staff are the biggest reasons why I like Texas,” Cruz told On3’s Chad Simmons on March 14. “I see Coach Flood as the type of coach who develop me and help me get to the next level.”
