Floyd Guidry reacts to the offer by Texas
The Texas Longhorns extended an offer Tuesday night to one of the top prospects in the Houston area that is about to blow up.
Texas defensive line coach Bo Davis made the call to the Spring (Texas) High fast riser to offer.
The 6-foot-1.25, 293-pound 14-6A First-team all-district selection grew up a fan of the Longhorns. And the offer will serve as motivation moving forward.
“It’s like a dream come true being I have been a fan watching them as a kid,” Guidry told On. “And just to see it all go full circle is very motivating and means a lot for me.”
The quick first and second step ball get off, ability to collapse the pocket from the interior and playmaking are the reasons Texas offered.
