Four-Star DL D'antre Robinson commits to Texas
Four-star defensive lineman D’antre Robinson of Orlando (FL) Jones High announced his commitment to Texas Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, 305 pounder chose the Longhorns over Florida.
Robinson holds a total of 62 offers and narrowed his list to the following 10 schools: Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, Ohio State, Georgia, Maryland, Texas, Colorado, Texas A&M, and Florida.
Robinson on why he chose Texas
“It felt like home on my unofficial and official visit,” Robinson said. “Talking to coach Sark with my mom made it even better because he touched my mom’s heart while talking and made her tear up.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“My closest relation is with Bo Davis. We talk everyday and we can talk about everything. They love how I can move and play all over the defensive line and say I can play on 3rd down pass plays as well. Texas wants me to play all around the defensive line because it makes me more valuable. I am expected to come in early and play.”
Robinson ranks as the No. 404 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 35 defensive lineman and the No. 56 player in the state of Florida.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
