Four-star wide receiver Parker Livingstone of Lucas (TX) Lovejoy High announced his commitment to Texas Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-4, 190 pounder chose the Longhorns over South Carolina, LSU, and Georgia.

Livingstone on why he chose Texas

“The coaching staff is the best staff I’ve met, they’re amazing. I also think I have the best opportunity to play early. The culture and the history at Texas is unmatched to any program, the best out there.”

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him

“I’m closest with the Wide Receivers (Coach Jackson), and my relationship with all the coaches is amazing from Sark to the recruiting staff. They plan on using me as an outside weapon, they told me they’ve been lacking the deep ball presence and the 50/50.”

What it means to stay home

“Man everything to be close to home and stay in the state of Texas. I’m just so grateful and humbled to be in this position to play for the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS.”

The Lone Star State wide receiver joins coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns’ top 25 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star wide receiver Freddie Dubose Jr., four-star running back Christian Clark, and others.

Livingstone ranks as the No. 384 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 65 wide receiver and the No. 63 player in the state of Texas.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
