Isaiah Bond injury update: Steve Sarkisian addresses Texas WR's status for Thursday injury report

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian provided a positive update on receiver Isaiah Bond on Thursday. Sarkisian revealed that Bond is likely to be listed as probably for Saturday’s game against Georgia when Thursday’s SEC injury report comes out, according to Inside Texas.
“Steve Sarkisian says he believes the program will upgrade WR Isaiah Bond to PROBABLE for Saturday’s game versus Georgia. He was listed as QUESTIONABLE on the Wednesday night SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report,” Inside Texas posted.
Isaiah Bond was injured during Saturday’s win over rival Oklahoma. The Alabama transfer went to the locker room just before halftime.
Bond had one catch for five yards at the time of his departure. He entered Saturday’s game as the Longhorns’ leading receiver with 364 yards and three touchdowns. He also has two carries for 51 yards and a rushing touchdown.
During the game, Bond’s agent provided an update on how he was doing.
“Just spoke to @isaiahbond_,” Damien S. Butler, Bond’s agent, said via X. “He’s out for the rest of the game but nothing major.”

Before taking the field, there are a few injuries for the teams to play with. Big news has already been reported on, with Georgia linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. being ruled out for the game. Mondon has missed multiple games now due to a foot injury, being a huge part of the Bulldogs’ defense.
A few other key names will now be monitored for the rest of the week as the Wednesday injury report has been released by the SEC, which included Texas WR Isaiah Bond as questionable. We will receive three more reports before the game gets underway as statuses can change throughout.
