Texas men’s basketball has won five of its last seven games and is headed down the stretch of the season with plenty of momentum. The Longhorns – who are currently ranked No. 20 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll – are coming off an 80-63 loss to a tough Baylor team, but they won their previous two games before that against Kansas and Iowa State, respectively.

Following the setback against Baylor, Texas returns to action Tuesday on the road at Oklahoma (7 p.m. ET on ESPN2). The Longhorns have a 53.6% chance to beat the Sooners, according to ESPN’s Basketball Power Index, and analytical network KenPom.com has Texas beating Oklahoma 62-61 – giving the Longhorns a 51% chance to win.

In terms of KenPom, Texas’ next five games have been predicted – and the numbers are in favor of the Longhorns. Here’s a look at how KenPom sees Chris Beard’s club matching up in their next five outings, beginning Tuesday at Oklahoma.

KenPom’s predictions for Texas’ next five games

1.) at Oklahoma, Tuesday, Feb 15: The Longhorns are predicted to win 62-61, with a 51% chance.

2.) vs. Texas Tech, Saturday, Feb. 19: The Longhorns are predicted to win 61-59, with a 58% chance.

3.) vs. TCU, Wednesday, Feb. 23: The Longhorns are predicted to win 66-57, with a 79% chance.

4.) at West Virginia, Saturday, Feb. 26: The Longhorns are predicted to win 65-61, with a 62% chance.

5.) vs. Baylor, Monday, Feb. 28: The Longhorns are predicted to lose 66-65, with a 49% chance to win.

If KenPom’s predictions are correct, Texas will have an overall record of 21-8 with a 11-6 mark in Big 12 play heading into its final league game against Kansas on Saturday, March 5. That game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. ET tipoff at Allen FIeldhouse in Lawrence, with ESPN carrying the national broadcast.

ESPN broke down how the bubble situation looks heading into another week of games. Here’s a look at the Big 12.

Big 12

Locks: Kansas, Baylor, Texas Tech

Should be in: Texas, TCU

Work to do: Oklahoma, Iowa State

One of the deepest conferences in the country, the Big 12 will have plenty of teams playing in March. The top three of Kansas, Baylor, and Texas Tech will all be top seeds, while Texas and TCU find themselves needing just another win or two to be considered locks. Oklahoma and Iowa State will have plenty of opportunities to make the jump into the field, including a matchup against each other on Feb. 19.
