Texas linebacker Ovie Oghoufo leaves game with apparent arm injury
Texas has seen their defense on the field a ton against Oklahoma State, currently in a shootout in Stillwater. Late in the second quarter, two Longhorn players went down with injuries, with one looking worse than the other.
First, linebacker Ovie Oghoufo went down and the medical staff immediately met him on the ground. While treating him, head coach Steve Sarkisian went to check on his player. Brought into a sitting position, Oghoufo was eventually brought to his feet with a staff member holding his arm in a sling position.

Texas did not even send Oghoufo to the locker room. Instead, he went over to the Oklahoma State sideline to use the Cowboys’ equipment.
“Ovie Oghoufo isn’t even heading to the Texas locker room,” Joe Cook of Inside Texas said via Twitter. “The medical staff is taking him toward the OSU side, likely to use their advanced equipment.”
Oghoufo has been playing outside linebacker for Texas this season, being a key player when it comes to run defense for Texas.

With the second half now underway, Oghoufo is back on the field and playing. A positive sign for the Longhorns.
Texas cornerback Ryan Watts down on the same play
At the same time as Oghoufo, cornerback Ryan Watts was on the ground. He was not in nearly as much pain as his teammate, sitting down the entire time. Eventually, Watts walked off the field under his own power.
Watts got back onto the field to begin the second quarter but after just one play, limped off. The ball was not thrown in his direction before heading to the sideline.
Watts has a huge interception for Texas in the end zone on quarterback Spencer Sanders. At the time, Oklahoma State was knocking on the door and threatening to tie the game. Instead, the Longhorns got the ball back and extended their lead to two touchdowns.
