Paul Chryst no longer on Steve Sarkisian's staff at Texas

According to Inside Texas, former Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst is no longer a member of the Texas football staff.
Joe Cook of Inside Texas posted an article Thursday morning noting Chryst’s departure of the program. He wrote:
“Paul Chryst is no longer with the Texas football program, a University of Texas spokesman told Inside Texas late Wednesday night. Chryst was a special assistant to head coach Steve Sarkisian during the 2023 season.”
Cook added the following nugget, which could be a sign the former college head coach is making a jump to the pros.

“Chryst was recently spotted alongside Texas tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Jeff Banks and offensive coordinator/O-line coach Kyle Flood at an organized team activity for the Green Bay Packers. He was not wearing any Longhorn branded gear, rather simple Under Armour garb.”
As a head coach with stops at Wisconsin and Pitt before joining Steve Sarkisian at Texas, Chryst posted an 86-45 overall record. His Badger teams won eight or more games in six of his eight seasons, including a run of three seasons from 2015-17 where his teams won 10, 11 and 13 games with three consecutive bowl victories — and Chryst won six bowl games in seven years before the COVID-shortened season which would prove to be his last in Madison.
Perhaps, though, a return to the state of Wisconsin is in the cards.
