A pair of Texas Longhorns revealed their newest NIL partnership with a huge brand, as Quinn Ewers and Xavier Worthy teamed up with Fortnite. The quarterback and receiver duo partnered with one of the biggest names in video games, sharing a video of them playing the game on Ewers’ Twitter account.
The post highlighted a new game mode for the mega-hit game by Epic Games, in a fun video that showed Worthy walk in on Ewers playing and ask to take over the controls.

The pair of young stars are two of the latest student-athletes to profit off of Name, Image and Likeness — and in a big way with young fans. Ewers and Worthy are receiving plenty of hype this season as Texas coach Steve Sarkisian looks to them as key additions to his offense.
The duo already have a great relationship growing it appears as they step up to the expectations Texas has for them, as highlighted earlier this year when Ewers was named Pro Football Focus’ quarterback most likely to break out in 2022. Worthy saw the prediction on social media and praised his quarterback for making the list.

One of the biggest storylines of the annual Texas Orange and White spring game was the quarterback competition between Ewers and Hudson Card. Both quarterbacks headed into the spring game, competing for the starting position. While it appears that Ewers is the likely candidate to start at quarterback for the Longhorns next season, Sarkisian has been quick to downplay the idea of naming a starter already.
Whichever direction Texas ends up going with their quarterback position, Ewers and Worthy both have already established themselves as hot NIL prospects — and their partnership with Fortnite may just be the first of many for the young stars.
