LOOK: Texas RB Keilan Robinson jokingly crowdsources to help pay parking ticket
Everything is bigger in Texas, including parking tickets. Football players are finding out the hard way around Austin, with a few receiving citations since Steve Sarkisian took over. While this is most likely nothing new within the program, Longhorn stars have recently begun to air out frustrations via Twitter.
Running back Keilan Robinson was the latest on Wednesday but decided to have some fun. He jokingly asked for donations to the ‘Parking Ticket Collective’, making a possible play in the NIL world. All Robinson wants is some help paying the fines.
“If anyone would like to donate towards the parking ticket collective fund I will dm you my cash app and or Venmo!”
At the time of posting, two Texas plays have quote tweeted Robinson’s original message, agreeing. One is true freshman and 2023 On3 Consensus five-star prospect Johntay Cook, who is already feeling the struggle despite being on campus for less than a month.

University police will not even cut QB1 some slack, with him experiencing the same issues back in the fall. Quarterback Quinn Ewers was in the midst of a first career start against UTSA, helping Texas begin the 2022 season with a 1-0 record.
He suffered a worse fate than his three offensive weapons, though. Ewers saw his truck get towed in the middle of the game, one that kicked off at 7:00 p.m. Quite the way to damper the spirits late at night after getting a win in front of 100,000 people.
Parking services are willing to take down anyone at any point of the year, even while the football games are going on at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Maybe the football players can band together and get some NIL money to pay off the fines.
Otherwise, some serious holes will continue to be burned through their pocket.
