Steve Sarkisian makes in-home visit with coveted 4-star OL Kam Dewberry
Four-star Kam Dewberry of Humble (Texas) Atascocita remains one of the top uncommitted offensive line prospects in the country.
So, it’s no surprise head coaches are putting on the full-court press to land Dewberry. And it was Texas’ turn to make a big impression Wednesday night with an in-home visit with the 6-foot-4, 325-pounder.
Kam Dewberry shared a photo of the visit with Longhorns’ head coach Steve Sarkisian and Texas assistants Kyle Flood and Jeff Banks.
There were plenty of smiles and Horns up signs in the photo.

Both Texas and Texas A&M feel positive about their chances to land Kam Dewberry, according to a report from On3’s Gerry Hamilton.
Dewberry dropped his final three of Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma last week. He also will announce his commitment on Dec. 15, the first day of the early signing period.

Both Sarkisian and Aggies’ head coach Jimbo Fisher have used their in-home visits with Dewberry. With the in-home visit period ending this week and the start of the signing period less than a week away, it’s now time for Dewberry to focus on a decision.
“Texas has shown that I can come in and play early under Sark’s offense and be a Day 1 starter and turn the program around,” Kam Dewberry said recently. “With A&M, I feel as if it’s close to home and they have proven that they can dominate the SEC and are a national championship contender.”
Kam Dewberry is the No. 59 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the country’s No. 5 interior offensive lineman and the No. 5 player in Texas.
