Texas, Chris Beard getting busy on the recruiting trail

Texas head coach Chris Beard and the Longhorns coaching staff have their foot on the gas as we enter the live recruiting period.

On Monday, Beard and Co. made a stop in Dallas to see a handful of top prospects: 2023 five-star Ron Holland, 2024 five-star Tre Johnson, 2023 three-star Samson Aletan, 2024 four-star Dink Pate, 2024 four-star Jalen Shelley, and 2025 Francis Chukwudeblu.

Next, Beard flew to Beaumont to visit with 2023 four-star Wesley Yates.

After a long day of recruiting the state of Texas, Beard and others flew overnight to New Jersey to visit with Elmarko Jackson, one of 2023’s biggest stock risers.

Hitting the road recruiting came after a busy weekend of official visits in Austin. Class of 2023 recruits AJ Johnson and Andrej Stojakovic were both on campus.
