Texas DL Trill Carter enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Texas Longhorns defensive lineman Trill Carter has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

This will be Carter’s second consecutive offseason in the portal. He joined Texas last offseason after spending the beginning of his college football journey with the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Over his five-year collegiate career, Carter has amassed 49 total tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble and one interception. Over the last couple of months with the Longhorns, he had nine total tackles and one sack.

Carter played high school football at Lee County (GA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 895 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Time will tell where Trill Carter ends up, but he’ll be looking for a bigger slice of the pie than he received with the Longhorns in 2023.
