Texas wide receiver Isaiah Neyor intends to enter NCAA transfer portal
Texas wide receiver Isaiah Neyor intends to enter the transfer portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Neyor caught one pass for 14 yards this season. He previously had 878 yards and 12 touchdowns at Wyoming in 2021.
Isaiah Neyor did not appear in any games in 2022, before playing in only one game this season.
With that said, he proved that he can be a dangerous pass catcher during his time at Wyoming.
Neyor was named second-team All-Mountain West Conference in 2021 as he averaged nearly 20 yards per catch. He led the Mountain West Conference in yards per catch and receiving touchdowns that season.
In 2020, Neyor ranked second on the Wyoming team with eight catches for 248 yards. That season was shortened to six games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Neyor also appeared in one game at Wyoming in 2019 as a freshman. He is leaving a Longhorns program that has a chance to win the national title. Texas is set to play Washington in the College Football Playoff in a few weeks.
