WATCH: Isaiah Neyor makes amazing catch with fingertips during practice
Last season, Xavier Worthy was the only real star for Texas at wide receiver. Jordan Whittington was consistent for head coach Steve Sarkisian when healthy and outside of those two, there was not much for the Longhorns. After dipping into the NCAA transfer portal and acquiring a few guys, Wyoming‘s Isaiah Neyor has seemingly risen to the top and is expected to be a major contributor in Austin.
Neyor showed off some of his ability in a recent practice, quite literally making a catch by his fingertips in the back of the endzone. Hudson Card launched a ball downfield, where Neyor was being covered by cornerback D’Shawn Jamison.
Not only did Neyor make the catch but at one point, he only had two fingers on the ball. He eventually switched over to using both hands, securing it inbounds and making one of the best catches you’ll see anywhere during fall camp.
As the video speeds back up from slow motion, you can hear people at the practice going crazy, knowing they just witnessed something crazy. You can watch the full moment here.

Practice is just getting underway for Texas but it seems as if Neyor is going to be a real star in the burnt orange this fall. Whether Card or Quinn Ewers is the one throwing him the ball, the wide receiver will be hoping to make these types of spectacular plays when the games actually matter.
More on Isaiah Neyor before first season at Texas
Neyor was originally supposed to be a Tennessee Volunteer but at the last moment, decided to return to the Lone Star State to play for Texas. He will enter the program off an 878-yard and 12-touchdown season for the Cowboys. Putting up similar numbers with Sarkisian running the show will be considered a huge success for both parties.
