WATCH: Texas 3-star TE commit Will Randle takes pick-six 77 yards

New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman three-star tight end Will Randle usually plays offense. However, he showcased his ability to play the other side of the ball on Friday night against Boutte (La.) Hahnville.

Randle, playing on the defensive line, read the quarterback’s throw and intercepted the pass. He proceeded to run down the field for a 77-yard pick-six.

The play gave Newman a 7-0 lead. Randle and fellow Texas commit, Five-Star Plus quarterback Arch Manning, helped give the school a 28-14 lead in the third quarter.

Randle is the No. 734 overall prospect and No. 40 tight end in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 29 player in Louisiana.

A 6-foot-3, 225 pound prospect, Randle is a member of the Longhorns’ 2023 recruiting class. The group ranks No. 5 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Rankings and No. 1 in the Big 12.

Randle has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes.
