2023 safety Chapman Lewis commits to Texas Tech

Burleson (Texas) Centennial safety Chapman Lewis has committed to Texas Tech, he announced Sunday on social media.
He is the second player to commit to the Red Raiders over the past two days, joining Stephenville (Texas) wide receiver and 2022 recruit Coy Eakin.

He joins Waxahachie (Texas) four-star cornerback Calvin Simpson-Hunt, College Station (Texas) A&M Consolidated three-star offensive lineman Daniel Sill, Amarillo (Texas) three-star offensive lineman Kaden Carr and Justin (Texas) Northwest quarterback Jake Strong as the Texas Tech commits in the 2023 recruiting class.
Simpson-Hunt is currently the top ranked recruit in the Red Raiders class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.He is the No. 330 overall recruit in the country.
