3-star DL Harvey Dyson III commits to Texas Tech after receiving offer Monday
It looks like Joey McGuire‘s first step as Texas Tech‘s head coach was to go back to his roots. And it appears to be paying off.
McGuire has held the job less than 24 hours and already has two commits — both from Cedar Hill (Texas) High, where he was the head coach for 14 seasons.
He first landed three-star cornerback Jalon Peoples. Exactly one hour after Peoples tweeted his commitment, his high school teammate and three-star defensive lineman Harvey Dyson III did the same thing.
Dyson is the No. 1250 overall recruit in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
