4-star DL Dylan Spencer flips to Texas Tech from Texas
Houston (Texas) C.E. King four-star defensive lineman Dylan Spencer has flipped to Texas Tech from Texas. He was previously committed to the Longhorns since March 15.
Spencer is the No. 315 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the nation’s No. 42 defensive lineman and No. 56 player in Texas.
Prior to his flip, Spencer made five visits to Texas. His official was on the weekend of June 25.
The 6-foot-4, 241-pound recruit has an On3 NIL Valuation of $33K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
