Former Santa Clara SG Tyeree Bryan commits to Texas Tech

Former Santa Clara University shooting guard Tyeree Bryan committed to Texas Tech out of the NCAA transfer portal. It’ll be the third school of his career.
Bryan had a solid season, his third in college basketball. After one year at Charleston Southern, Bryan transferred to Santa Clara.
Last season, Bryan put up 10.4 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game, shot 46.3% from the floor and 42.9% from three-point range.
As a member of the Class of 2021, Bryan was not ranked, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He played high school basketball in Orlando (Fla.) Olympia.

Tyeree Bryan commits to Texas Tech
Bryan coming to Texas Tech is just the latest move for the Red Raiders. JT Toppin was the biggest news as he’s expected to return to school on a $4 million NIL package.
Toppin is the reigning Big 12 Player of the Year, having transferred to Texas Tech from New Mexico prior to the 2024-25 season. His year went exactly as hoped.
During 33 games with the Red Raiders, Toppin averaged 18.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists. Texas Tech made it all the way to the Elite Eight during the 2025 Men’s NCAA Tournament but fell to the eventual champions in devastating fashion, as Florida erased a major deficit to end Texas Tech’s season.
It was a highly-successful first season for Toppin with Texas Tech, and it’s evident the Red Raiders will have a shot at greatness with him returning to the program for another season. Time will tell how high they can climb, but the forward will be looking for more in Lubbock this time around.
