Former Arizona State tight end Jalin Conyers just picked up another potential suitor. On Friday, the highly-coveted transfer announced he will be visiting Texas Tech.

In 34 career games, Conyers has 74 receptions, 846 yards and six touchdowns. The 6-foot-4 TE has one year of eligibility remaining. Conyers also has official visits planned with Oklahoma, Georgia and Utah.

Conyers played high school football at Grover (TX), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 175 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Conyers announced his plan to enter the transfer portal on Nov. 29.

“Thank you to Coach Breneman and Coach Herm for giving me the opportunity to come to ASU,” Conyers wrote. “I would also like to thank Coach Wood and Coach Aquano for providing me a chance to show what I can do. To Coach Dillingham, Coach Mohns, and Coach Wade, thank you for helping me to continue turning myself into the player and man I want to be all while challenging, encouraging, and believing in me.

“To my teammates, thank you for the opportunity to fight, grind, and compete with y’all these last three years. Lastly, thank you so much Sun Devil Nation, for the love and support. For all the fans that listened to my podcast, businesses that I worked with, and kids that I have had the privilege of being a role model for, I cannot thank y’all enough for what y’all have done for me. I will forever be a Sun Devil.”
