On300 TE Preztynn Harrison commits to Texas Tech
Mineral Wells (Texas) four-star tight end Preztynn Harrison has committed to Texas Tech, he announced on Sunday.
Harrison chose the Red Raiders over offers from Vanderbilt, North Texas, and Texas State.
“I would like to thank my mom, my dad, and my little sister for always being by my side,” he wrote on Twitter. “I would like to thank all of my coaches who have helped me along the way. I want to thank all of my teammates for pushing me on the field and in the weight room. Thank you to all my of teachers who have helped me in the classroom throughout the years. Thank you to all of the schools who have shown interest in me and believed in me. After a lot of thoughts & prayers, I’m excited to announce that I am committing to Texas Tech University! Wreck’em!!!”
Harrison is currently unranked in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3, however, ranks him as the nation’s No. 188 overall prospect, No. 10 tight end and No. 32 prospect in Texas.
He is the 10th commitment for the Red Raiders in the 2025 cycle, joining a group headlined by four-star wide receiver Tristian Gentry and four-star quarterback Lloyd Jones. Tech’s class currently ranks No. 21 nationally and No. 2 in the Big 12, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
