Kansas State transfer Selton Miguel has SEC, ACC, Big-12, and more in contact
Earlier this week, Kansas State sophomore Selton Miguel entered the transfer portal. The 6-foot-4 guard has caught the eye of numerous programs.
“Schools like South Carolina, Boston College, Cincinnati, BYU, Loyola-Chicago, Murray State, Tulsa, Nevada, etc., have reached out,” Miguel told On3.
Miguel played for two seasons at Kansas State. He started 36 games through his two seasons. He averaged 7.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.9 steals in 26.2 minutes per game.
This process is just starting for Miguel. But he does have an idea of what he will be looking for in a new program.

“I am really looking for a fresh start,” Miguel said. “I’m looking for a place that will give me the freedom to be able to make plays on both ends of the floor. Organize the offense, scoring, and be able to be me.”
Selton Miguel is a native of Luanda, Angola. He graduated from Orlando (FL) West Oaks Academy, where the guard had offers from South Florida, TCU, Iowa State, Texas A&M, Western Kentucky, etc.
