Four-Star RB Stacy Gage commits to UCF
Four-star running back Stacy Gage of Tampa (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas announced his commitment to UCF Saturday afternoon.
The 5-foot-11, 205 pounder chose the Knights over Oklahoma, Colorado, Florida, and others.
Stacy Gage’s relationship with the coaching staff and close proximity to family played a huge role in his decision to ultimately commit to UCF.
“My relationship with the staff is amazing,” Gage said. “I feel extremely comfortable around them. I feel as if I can be myself. On the staff I’m closest with coach Kam Martin. Our conversations 9/10 aren’t even about football, they are about life. As far as their plan for me, I’ll be a quick impact guy and we’ll be a run first team.
“I honestly made this decision for my family. I felt like it would be better for me to stay close to home and do my thing.”
