JUCO guard Dior Johnson commits to UCF
JUCO standout Dior Johnson, a once highly-touted recruit, has committed to Johnny Dawkins and UCF, he told On3.
The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 29.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game this season for Clarendon Community College. He shot 52% from the field and 41.7% from three.
Johnson began his college career at Pitt, but never appeared in a game for the Pantheres due to legal trouble. As a sophomore, he committed to Syracuse before reopening his recruitment. He was also once signed to Oregon.

The native of Kingston, New York was at one time considered to be the No. 1 point guard in the 2022 class and a five-star recruit.
Johnson attended several different high schools but finished out his senior season with Southern California Academy. In On3’s Final Player Rankings update, Johnson finished as the No. 90 overall recruit in the class.
