4-star safety Tony Williams commits to UCF
Palm Beach (Fla.) Central four-star safety Tony Williams has committed to UCF.
He chose the Golden Knights while also holding offers from the likes of Miami, Penn State, Arkansas and Iowa.
Williams is the No. 250 overall prospect and No. 21 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 39 player in Florida.
Williams returned to Orlando in January for his latest visit with Gus Malzahn and Co. The UCF staff pushed harder for the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder than any other program and has now added another elite defensive back to the fold.
“The staff in Orlando is recruiting him the hardest. That, combined with the chance to stay home and make and early impact have the Knights trending,” On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons wrote last month.
Williams joins rising 2025 class in Orlando
With the addition of Williams, UCF now has five pledges in the 2025 cycle — compiling the No. 19 overall class in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central four-star safety Kendarius Reddick announced a surprise flip of his commitment from Auburn to UCF on Feb. 3. The 6-foot, 165-pounder is a top-50 prospect in the 2025 On300.
“The way everyone looked at me as family as soon as I stepped foot in the facility. It just made me feel more at home,” Reddick told On3’s Hayes Fawcett upon flipping his commitment.
Reddick is now flanked by Williams, as well as Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola four-star running back Taevion Swint, Tampa Bay Tech three-star wide receiver Santonyo Isaac and Cocoa (Fla.) three-star offensive lineman Jaquez Joiner.
Swint is the No. 236 overall recruit in the On3 Industry Ranking and is also the No. 16 burner in the 2025 cycle. He committed to Malzahn and Co. in April 2023.
