WATCH: UCF basketball manager hits incredible shot, wins campers free candy

Summertime means college basketball programs are hosting camps for young fans to attend around the country. UCF is no different, as campers hang out in Orlando and work on their basketball game.

As camp came to a close, a Knights manager was given the daunting task of hitting a three quarter length shot. On the line? Free candy for everyone in attendance. You know there is nothing some kids, even adults, would love more than something sweet or chocolate for free.

Well, the manager came in clutch, hitting the shot with nothing but net. As you might expect, everyone went crazy and mobbed the guy who made their days.

ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas even reacted to the moment, praising the manager. He has always voiced his support for the people who are a huge part of making programs run.

UCF head coach Gus Malzhan takes shot at Alabama via Paul Finebaum

Former Auburn head coach Guz Malzahn had plenty good memories on The Plains with the Tigers over the years, but one moment has clearly stuck with him even now as he coaches UCF. He took time to light a fire under one of the SEC’s fiercest rivalries with his response to SEC Network host Paul Finebaum on social media.

After coming across a post by Paul Finebaum asking fans to recount the “best play in college football you’ve seen in-person,” Gus Malzahn provided a simple answer.

“Kick Six,” he wrote on Twitter, making a callback to one of the most famous plays in college football history. The play still brings emotion to Alabama and Auburn fans alike, although for different reasons.

With the game tied and just one second on the clock, Alabama lined up for a game-winning field goal from 57 yards out. However, the kick fell short into the hands of Chris Davis, who then weaved his way 109 yards down the field for the game-winning touchdown in front of the home fans at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
