Georgia Tech defensive back transfer KJ Wallace commits to UCLA

Georgia Tech defensive back KJ Wallace has committed to UCLA out of the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on his Instagram account on Saturday.

Wallace spent two years with the Yellow Jackets after transferring in from Notre Dame, where he began his career.

During the 2023 season, Wallace recorded 42 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, 1.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception and eight passes defended.

In total during his career Wallace has racked up 93 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions and 10 passes defended.

KJ Wallace played high school football at the Lovett School (GA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 287 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
