Louisville defensive back Aaron Williams commits to UCLA out of transfer portal
Louisville defensive back Aaron Williams has committed to UCLA out of the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.
Williams was a redshirt freshman for the Cardinals who had a relatively limited impact during his two seasons in Louisville.
He played in four games during the 2024 campaign, recording just one tackle in that timeframe.
Prior to enrolling at Louisville, Williams was ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 192 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class. He also checked in as the No. 23 cornerback in his class and the No. 15 overall player from the state of California, hailing from Corona (CA) St. John Bosco.
UCLA adds Aaron Williams, loses another
While the Bruins added Williams from the Cardinals on Wednesday, they also lost a valuable piece to the NCAA transfer portal. Defensive back Jaylin Davies entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned.

Davies has been with UCLA for the last three seasons and has been a contributor on the Bruins’ defense for the length of his time there. Prior to that, he spent a season with the Oregon Ducks, only appearing in two games that season.
In 40 career games, Davies has made 108 total tackles, including two tackles for a loss and 0.5 sacks. He also has four interceptions and 11 passes defended for his career to go with a forced fumble. Perhaps the most productive season of his career came in 2022 when he had three interceptions.
After playing his high school football at Mater Dei in California, Davies was named a four-star prospect in the Class of 2021, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He was the 24th-ranked cornerback and the 298th-ranked player overall in that recruiting cycle.
