UCLA Bruins tight end makes decision on his future
Bowl season is all but over except for the National Championship game between Georgia and Alabama, scheduled for Monday, Jan. 10. And as programs begin to prepare for the upcoming offseason, players must decide whether or not to stay at their current program. One player for the UCLA Bruins has made a decision on his future and announced it via his personal Twitter account.
Bruins tight end Greg Dulcich has announced that he will be declaring for the 2022 NFL draft. He did so with this letter attached, thanking the program and those who have helped them along the way.
“Thank you to my wonderful family for always supporting and guiding me. Thank you to Justin Posthuma and Chris Zubia for being such great mentors of mine. Thank you to my Golden Knight family and to coach bonds for giving me the strongest foundation possible in both faith and football. Thank you to coach Kelly and coach Sage for taking a chance on a walk-on and believing in me as a player and as a man. I would not be where I am today without you,” wrote Dulcich.
Dulcich played in a total of 25 games for UCLA over Four Seasons. He finishes his career with the Bruins catching 77 passes for 1353 yards, averaging 17.6 yards per catch, and 11 touchdowns.

“I spent years visualizing the actual moment that unfolded in my final season at Michigan,” Hutchinson said. “November 27, 2021, was 10 years in the making and could not have been a more unforgettable night with my brothers. They proved with me time and time again this season that nothing is impossible and 2% is still 2%. I will relive all of those glorious moments for the rest of my life and forever be grateful to my team for joining me in giving everything we had.”
Hutchinson got to represent Michigan during the Heisman Trophy ceremony after the season. While he came up just short, finishing second behind Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, he was one of the few defensive players to ever end up in New York City.
In Todd McShay’s latest NFL Draft rankings, he declared Hutchinson as his No. 1 overall player. He was rated ahead of the likes of Oregon pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux and Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal.
Heading into the final week of the regular season, the top pick will come down to the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Detroit Lions. For Hutchinson to stay within the state of Michigan, Detroit would have to lose to Green Bay on Sunday, while Jacksonville would need a win over Indianapolis.
All of that assumes Hutchinson is taken No. 1 overall.
