2025 OT Garrison Blank commits to UCLA Bruins
Rocklin (Calif.) three-star offensive tackle Garrison Blank has committed to UCLA, he announced on Thursday afternoon.
He chose the in-state Bruins while also holding offers from Cal, Minnesota, Utah, Kansas, Arizona and others.
Blank is the No. 694 overall prospect and No. 42 OT in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 57 player in California.
“At the end of the day it made me feel at home, and I feel they’ll develop me as a player and a person…the education there is great,” Blank told TTJH Sports of his decision. “It’s the 17th-ranked university in the world, so going to UCLA is just something I couldn’t pass up.”
The 6-foot-7 trench monster took his official visit to UCLA last month. He now joins a rising class under new head coach DeShaun Foster.
Bruins charging for top-25 recruiting class
UCLA hasn’t finished with a top-30 recruiting class since the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. That streak could be snapped this winter when the Early Signing Period rolls around in December.

With Blank now in the mix, the Bruins now have 10 commitments in their 2025 class — which now checks in at No. 29 in the nation and No. 7 in the Big Ten. Blank is the sixth pledge for Foster and Co. since the beginning of May.
Long Beach (Calif.) Warren four-star quarterback Madden Iamaleava is the jewel of the class, checking in at No. 119 overall. He’s also the No. 11 signal-caller in the 2025 cycle and a top-15 player in California.
Iamaleava committed on May 25, just 11 days after Hesperia (Calif.) Oak Hills four-star running back Karson Cox did the same. A top-150 recruit in the 2025 On300, Cox is also ranked as a top-10 burner overall.
Blank is the sixth in-state commit in the class. Alongside Iamaleava and Cox, other Golden State pledges include San Juan Capistrano San Juan Hills three-star linebacker Weston Port, Temecula Chapparal three-star cornerback Kuron Jabari Jr. and Los Angeles Loyola three-star EDGE Scott Taylor.
