UCLA four-star receiver Grant Gray signs with The Network Advisory for NIL representation
Grant Gray is making sure to set a foundation for his NIL future.
The four-star receiver and UCLA commit has signed with The Network Advisory (TNA) for NIL representation. A senior at Norco High (California), the two-sport athlete was the first member of the Bruins’ 2023 recruiting class when he verbally committed back in April.
Because California is one of 24 states that allows high schoolers to monetize their Name, Image and Likeness, Gray can start growing his brand before he walks on a college campus. A standout center fielder, he plans to play both football and baseball in Westwood.
A full-service sports marketing, branding and public relations firm based out of Los Angeles, Pellum will be working hand-in-hand with industry veterans Justin J. Giangrande and Brian Sher.
“Grant was the first commitment for UCLA’s 2023 class, as being a leader is in his DNA. A local athlete, he’s committed to helping coach Kelly finish the turnaround in Westwood. A superstar two-sport star, he’s going to flourish with the Bruins on the football field and baseball diamond. We’re excited to start working with him and his family at The Network Advisory.”
Giangrande was formerly a vice president at Vayner Sports before forming Levels Sports at the start of the NIL Era. He is now working solely with TNA, which has a talent roster featuring fashion influencer India Love, actor Peyton Meyer and musical artist KOH. Sher owns Hollywood entertainment company, Crossover Entertainment, and has a track record of working with high-profile musical talent, as well.
Gray grabbed attention from a number of schools throughout his recruiting process. But being under 70 miles from home and playing both sports at the Division I level is hard to beat. With a 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame, he’s a top-30 recruit in California per the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting services.
The four-star recruit has developed into a strong route runner and can make moves in the open space. And he’s proven to be a key piece in helping the Bruins recruit a top 40 class in the nation.

Grant Gray’s On3 NIL Valuation
The UCLA receiver commit currently holds an On3 NIL Valuation of $13,000. He has roughly 3,000 social media followers between Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
As a two-sport athlete, Gray’s brand will surely rise once he arrives on campus at UCLA.
The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.
While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.
The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.
